A Thank You Note
Recently I visited the dentist multiple times. Every time I went, the thought of those cold dental tools and that nerve-wracking whir of the drill made me feel like I was going to lose it. However, a friend made the experience far less intimidating through chatting with me.
Remote Comfort
Despite her being in various locations—sometimes in the U.S., other times in Europe—her timely responses always provided solace. Though I worried about imposing on her, her readiness to engage in the chat diverted my mind from my anxious thoughts.
A Magical Support
Her words acted as a magical distraction from my anxiety, and her encouragement fortified my resolve. This support, transcending time zones, made each dental visit more bearable.
A Heartfelt Thanks
